Changes to the school week – Consultation

A letter was sent out to all families today explaining a proposal to change the structure of the school week.  All information and a link to share your views can be found here

Attendance

We know that high rates of attendance link closely with positive outcomes for children in school and after the disruption of the pandemic, children attending school consistently is more important than ever.  Attendance letters have been sent out this week to the children in school with the lowest attendance.  Whilst covid has, and continues to, affect lots of children’s attendance, we are also noticing an increase in the number of families that are booking holidays in term-time. Just to remind families that all holidays will be unauthorised and Cambridgeshire County Council are very likely to issue penalty notices.

If you would like to discuss your child’s specific circumstances, the pastoral team will be very happy to arrange a call or meeting.  They can be contacted via the office on 01223 712525 or at pastoralteam@fulbourn.cambs.sch.uk. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our attendance as high as possible.

PTFA - nearly half way!

Together we have travelled 1,619.9 miles so far which means we are nearly half-way to Cambridge MassachusettsThe weather looks lovely this weekend so don’t forget to log all of the walking, running, cycling and scooting you do in the sunshine
