Easter Singing
Next Friday 1st April, unless it pours with rain, we will open the gates a little early at 3.10pm and our classes will be out on the playgrounds doing some Easter singing. If you are free, we would love you to join us.
Kids R Us
Kids R Us are running an Easter programme in the Old School Building. Please see the flier below for more information or contact Kids R Us by email at office@kidsrusoosc.com. There will be spaces available in the first week for children entitled to the Holiday Activities and Food programme vouchers.
School Camp – 9th/10th July
The school summer camp is back! Those of you that have been before will know what great fun this annual event is, run by the Men In Schools group. The camp is for all the family and takes place on the edge of Fulbourn Fen nature reserve.
We organise competitions, games and workshops. There is food from the BBQ, a campfire, marshmallows, guitar playing and almost certainly water fights! In short it's a whole lot of FUN for everyone (we have tents which those without can use for the weekend). So put the date in your diary and expect more details on signing up soon.
Air Filtration
Thanks to the expertise of some very supportive members of our parent body and the financial support of the Wright’s Clock Charity, we have been able to install a HEPA filter into each classroom in school. These devices work alongside our current covid risk assessment to add an additional mitigation. We are very grateful for the community support in continuing to keep our pupils and staff as safe as possible.

Starting school or education is a wonderful and exciting time. To help families prepare for this transition (change), local NHS healthcare professionals have created an online health questionnaire that can be your ‘Getting Ready for Change’ checklist. This invitation goes out to every parent or carer living in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough who has a child aged 4-5 years.
It covers lots of points from hearing and eyesight through to emotional health and behaviour. After answering the questions you will be provided with some helpful information and on‑line resources along with a summary of your answers.
You can access the questionnaire by using this link:
Uniform
Please remember to name all of your child’s school uniform. Now that the weather is getting warmer the children are taking off jumpers and sweatshirts. If items are named we are able to return any that are found to their owners.
School Meal Menu
The school meal menu can be found here on our website. Please look at the menu with your child and talk about the different options on offer each day. For the week commencing 28th March we will be on menu week one.
Special Easter Meal
On Wednesday 30th March we will be offering a special Easter themed menu:
