Fulbourn Community Choir is a fun, informal and friendly singing group for adults in the village. No previous singing experience or ability to read music is needed. No audition or pre-booking. Absolutely everybody is welcome - just turn up!
We're thrilled to have James Harvey leading us this term and have been invited to perform at the Fulbourn Feast on 26th June. We'll be singing a range of music from musical theatre to folk songs to pop songs, to suit every taste. Singing has a wide range of proven physical and mental health benefits as well as being fun and a great community activity. Do come and join us and help us make the Fulbourn Feast performance amazing!
Rehearsals are in St Vigor's Church on Monday evenings, 7.00-8.30pm.

Fulbourn Cricket Club is running several courses this term for children. We have something for all age groups! Once again, we will be running our All Stars (5-8 yo) and Dynamos (8-11 yo) on Thursday evenings from 16th May, these give a great intro to the sport using a soft ball. Sign-up is via the ECB website at https://www.ecb.co.uk/play/all-stars (enter your postcode to find the events and register).
This year we are also forming an under-12s squad, aimed at Y6/Y7 children who wish to progress to hard-ball cricket (Y6 children can do this AND Dynamos!). We will be running training sessions on Sunday afternoons from 19th May 3-4pm. We may also arrange some friendly matches later in the term. This squad is entirely managed by the club. Participation is FREE but we ask that you register with the club via clairenichollsdrc.outlook.com
All squads are for girls and boys.
Story Time sessions are restarting on 21st May, aimed at children aged 6 and under, where one of the library volunteers will read from books currently held in the library.
