Curriculum

Welcome to the Curriculum section of the website where you will find the following:

• Our Curriculum and Learning Policy. This explains our approach to ensure the highest quality of planning, teaching and assessment at the school and how this leads to effective learning and strong progress.

• The school’s Topic Plan. This document shows the range of topics that the children will study during their time at Fulbourn Primary School. It has been created to ensure that, however the classes are structured, the pupils will encounter different learning very term. It also shows how the topics link to the content of certain subjects and how the school’s values are taught.

• A Guide to Progression in all subjects and the school’s core values. These documents detail the development of different aspects of each subject taught at our school. They are used by teachers both to plan the next steps in the children’s learning and to assess their progress.

• Key Stage 2 Data Summary 2014. This summarises the percentage of pupils who achieved level 4 and level 5 in the Reading, Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar and Maths tests in statutory tests undertaken by Year 6 pupils in May 2014. It also shows results in Writing, which is assessed by the teacher.
