Dare to Discover
That's all of us!
We are not an exclusive club. We are just a group of parents,
organising some events to help make the school a great place to be.
The PTfA support the school by organising social events and raising funds which go directly to the school for the direct benefit of the children.
PTfA funds have previously paid for
Our current committee:
Lindsay Sarah D Sarah F
Treasurer Secretary Chair
As a committee, we steer the co-ordination of PTfA events and link closely on a regular basis with the Headteachers and the Men in Schools group.
But we can't do it alone! We are always looking for more helpers and new ideas to bring to the PTfA. All talents are welcome and there are opportunities to contribute a little or a lot or anything in between.
The PTfA meets regularly at The Six Bells to plan activities such as discos, quizzes, Christmas and summer fairs and social gatherings, and we take part in the running of events. It is a great way to get involved in school life, meet other parents, have some fun and support our children through fundraising!
Please get in touch with Sarah via the PTfA email, fulbournprimaryptfa@gmail.com, or leave your name and contact details at the school office at any time and they can pass your details on.
We hope you will join us for a Quiz Night, taking place in the school. £5 per person, up to 8 people per team, tickets available on MCAS plus we will be selling tickets after school on the playground
The PTFA quiz is always a great night, so gather your teams or let us know you're interested and we can help find you a team (fulbournprimaryptfa@gmail.com)
There will also be some GAMES and a RAFFLE. Prizes include a free meal at the Six Bells and a voucher for Beaumont's Butcher among others!
Cambridge2Cambridge Challenge
Congratulations to everyone for completing the Cambridge2Cambridge challenge. Your final total was 3,658.15 miles travelled and so far we have raised £942.46 towards the pond and allotment project. If anyone still has sponsorship to collect or would like to donate, the JustGiving page is open until 31/05/22: Cambridge2Cambridge Walk for the Pond and Allotment Project or you can email us at fulbournprimaryptfa@gmail.com to request BACS details. Certificates for all the children have been delivered to school, so they should receive them soon.
We are pleased to announce that Amazon™ Wish Lists are now available for each class.
If you click on the name of your child's class below, the link will take you straight to the Wish List on the Amazon website.
Each class teacher has set up a list of classroom resources their class needs on Amazon™. Items on the list vary from class to class and range in price from 99p up to £50.
As we are all aware, school budgets are currently very tight and need to cover a wide range of expenses. There are many ways in which parents can help support the school.
In line with our healthy eating policy, the school is encouraging parents not to bring in sweets for their child/ren’s classmates when celebrating birthdays. The Amazon™ class lists provide an alternative for parents if they wish.
Class lists provide another way for parents and family members who may wish to support their child/ren’s individual class needs. Please feel free to pass this guide on to your family and friends if they would like to purchase items from your child/ren’s class list.
Simply click on the name of your child's class below and the link will take you straight to the relevant page on the Amazon website.

Do you frequently make purchases from Amazon? Using Amazon Smile won't cost you anymore, but it will help the PTfA! When you go to Amazon, type https://smile.amazon.co.uk into your browser, then select Fulbourn PTfA as your designated charity. A fraction of a percentage of your purchase will then be donated to the PTfA. It's a small step that adds up quickly!
The PTfA can receive donations through our Just Giving page. You can make a one-off payment or set up a monthly direct debit following the instructions.
If you have any queries about how to use the Amazon™ class lists, Amazon Smile, or Just Giving, please get in touch with Fran or Laura, or ask at the office. Thank you for your ongoing support to Fulbourn Primary School.
