2 Hours per day, 11.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m., as required, school term time only.

Salary:  NJC Scale Point 3 (£25,614 pro rata, £13.28 per hour)

Start date:                        As soon as possible

We are looking for one or two kind, positive and energetic people who would be able to help the school on an occasional basis assisting our friendly lunchtime team.   No experience is necessary if you have genuine care and passion for working with children.  This role is ideal for someone who has some spare time during the day and would like to help the school. 

Duties include:

• Supporting positive play activities for children outdoors, or indoors
• Ensuring the safety, welfare and behaviour of children at lunchtime
• Communicating with children and supporting them if they are upset or worried
• Supervising and supporting children in the dining hall
• Setting up and cleaning away tables/chairs in the dining hall

We are looking for someone who

• Is playful and has positive ideas for lunchtime games and activities
• Works well within a team
