Young Carers

Support for Young Carers

A Young Carer is a child or young person who helps to care for a family member who is mentally or physically unwell, has a disability or is dependent on drugs or alcohol.

We celebrate and support young carers at our school - you can read more about how we support Young Carers in 'Our Approach to Supporting Young Carers'

If your child is providing care to a family member and you would like some support, please do come and talk to our Young Carers Champion, Kerry Middleditch (pastoralteam@fulbourn.cambs.sch.uk)

You can also access support from Centre 33’s Young Carers Project who provide a range of help and support to young carers in Cambridgeshire. You can find out more here https://centre33.org.uk/help/caring-primary-age/
