We have designed a curriculum that provides an enriching, diverse and exciting journey of discovery for our children. We maximise use of our wonderful site, the local area, and resources further afield to ensure that all of our children engage in purposeful, exciting learning opportunities throughout their seven years with us. We have created a programme of Essential Experiences that both enhance children's learning within the curriculum, but also provide memorable moments that our children tell us they treasure long after they leave us. The curriculum is broad and balanced, making sure that there are plenty of opportunities for children to revisit and deepen their understanding, but also make new discoveries in all areas of learning.

Long Term Curriculum Planning

Our children regularly tell us that they love their learning topics. Each term the overarching topic changes, and the children love that their learning in different subjects links where appropriate. Our termly learning journeys are engaging and varied, and ensure that the children cover the National Curriculum requirements as a minimum. Each topic begins with an exciting launch that piques the children's interest, and ends with an opportunity for reflection and celebration of the learning.
