Fulbourn PTFA has a Facebook page!
We’re excited to let you know that the PTFA has an official Facebook Page. The page is a public space where we can:
- Share news and updates about upcoming PTA events
- Say thank you to sponsors and supporters
- Celebrate the work of our school community
- Help local businesses and families see how they can get involved
This is slightly different to the PTFA Facebook Group, which is private and only visible to members. The group will continue to be used for internal updates and parent-to-parent communication. The page, on the other hand, gives us a more public face, helping us reach more people, increase visibility and build wider support for the school.
👉 You can find and follow our page here:

We’d love you to give it a like and share it with friends and family to help us spread the word! 💜
Safeguarding
As a school, safeguarding is always a priority and this extends to school volunteers. Emily Inman, Gemma Whitehead and Kelly Tarrant from the PTfA team all hold enhanced DBS Certificates and the school has carried out full volunteer safeguarding checks for them.
Labelling uniform - don't forget
Please make sure that you label all of your child's clothing and belongings which they wear/bring to school. If you order name labels from http://www.stikins.co.uk the PTFA earns 30% commission on every order when you use our fundraising code 7650. Parents from our school who already use Stikins have commented on how good they are.

In addition, the PTFA will also earn 24% commission on any labels ordered from My Nametags, whose labels can be used to identify your child's property and belongings.

To order online please go to www.MyNametags.com and use the school's ID number 115238.
A fun evening was had by all who attended our Painty Party, and we raised over £500 in the process.

Congratulations to Kate Harvey, on completing the Cambridge Half Marathon. Including Gift Aid, Kate raised in excess of £500 in sponsorship for the PTFA. Thank you and well done, Kate!

Other fundraising events have included:
- The Bag2School collection, raising £120.
- Well done to year 6 pupil, Matthew, who raised £85.50 with his pop-up pocket money toy stall, and thank you to everyone who supported him.
- A big thank you to Fulbourn Arts who raised around £140 for the PTFA through their ceilidh ticket sales.
Things you can be doing to help the PTFA at no cost to yourself include:
- Signing up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk so you can earn money for the PTFA as you shop online. Our charity is called Fulbourn Primary School PTFA - Cambridge on their system.
- Donating used printer ink cartridges for recycling. The last box we sent off for recycling raised over £50. You can leave old cartridges at the school office or pass them to Sarah Davies.
- Start saving your unwanted clothing for our Bag2School collections.
Thank you for your support!
