Men In School

Men in School (MiS) is a volunteer group for any dads or carers with a child at Fulbourn Primary School.  Our mission is to organise extra-curricular activities that enrich the lives of our pupils, to provide a way for men to get involved in school life, and to support the PTFA in their crucial fund-raising efforts.  We generally meet once a month, so if you'd like to learn more about what we do or how to get involved, please feel free to join us at our first meeting of this school year at 8.30 p.m., Thursday 25th September, at the Six Bells pub.  Alternatively, you can express your interest in joining us by emailing misfulbourn@gmail.com, and we can add you to our WhatsApp community.

We hope to see you around!

Men in School was founded over 10 years ago, at a time when Fulbourn Primary School had no male teachers, and primary schools generally had a limited male presence.  Any dads or carers with a child at Fulbourn Primary School are welcome to join this volunteer group.

Safeguarding

As a school, safeguarding is always a priority and this extends to school volunteers. Alan Chan and Tom Beakes from the Men In Schools team both hold enhanced DBS Certificates and the school has carried out full volunteer safeguarding checks for them.
